Serious Illness (Cancer)
Bill was a proud family man and had many great friends. He touched the hearts of many and was always
there for anyone. He was a wonderful Father, Grandfather, and Husband to his wife Jean. He will be
greatly missed but never forgotton.
May he rest in peace, as he watches down on us all.
Hi Bill. I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. I cant believe you have been gone for a year. still miss you dearly.love to you at christmas. Give my baby girl a big hug for me.xxx

It's been many years since I last saw Bill.
I moved away from the North East 15 years ago and lost touch with his family, other than an occasional telephone call to his Son and my friend, Tony.
I grew up with the Stothards in Sunnyside and always liked Bill immensely. He was a family man through and through and was totally devoted to his lovely wife, Jean.
I heard of his death when I contacted Tony recently and was both shocked and upset. I had no idea Bill had been ill and disappointed that I couldn't pay my respects at his funeral.
God Bless Bill. Until we meet again.
